1. Keep Your Hands Away from Your Face – Your hands carry oils, dirt and bacteria. The first of these acne tips is the hardest to do! If you touch your face a lot, all the acne treatment you do in the morning or at night won’t matter. Your pores act like fishing nets, catching everything on your fingers. If you want to clear acne off your face, keep it clean by not touching it.

2. Keep a Food Journal – One of the ways our bodies release toxins is through our skin. This second pimple-tip will show you if you need to stop eating something to get ride of acne. Your skin talks to you, so you can track what you eat and write down when you break out in pimples. Many people break out in zits after eating chocolate or fatty foods. If you see any patterns, you will know how to get rid of acne fast.

3. Make Your Own Mask – The best acne medication is the most natural acne treatment. Spread raw egg-white onto your face after washing it. As the egg-white dries it will tighten, pulling out impurities and closing your pores. You can also use clay-dirt that you find when you dig down beneath topsoil to make a mud mask. Warning: Be sure to avoid getting any mask material in your eyes. Always wash it away with hot water and soap to eliminate bacteria and salmonella.

4. Sleep with a Clean Face – The last of these acne tips is one you can take to bed with you! Keep your pillowcases fresh, so that your face isn’t resting in the oils and dirt that rub off onto it from your hair and make-up. Always wash your face before bed, and tie your hair back if it is long, so that your hair oil doesn’t get onto your acne skin.
